With the help of our SLOLA Supporters, we have raised over $1000 for the Heirloom Seed Expo . An educational family fun event in Santa Rosa, CA where Harvest Season can be enjoyed to the fullest. It is also a place where Seed Libraries from around the world come together to talk about how to facilitate the mission build Seed Saving Communities. The Seed Library of Los Angeles has boothed at this festival for nearly 10 years. If you are interested in volunteering or just attending the event email us at membership@slola.org.

Master Gardener Yvonne Savio Will discuss the difference between hybrid and open pollinated seed and why this matters in saving seeds from flowers and vegetables in your garden. She'll demonstrate how to save seeds with plants from her Pasadena Garden. She will also provide plants for you to add to your gardens.
